STORY
The Leaf It 2 Me Story.
Starting back in my early years I was inspired to study arboriculture after seeing a photo of an arborist dropping the top out of a pine tree. I was hooked. I decided to enrol at the Waikato Institute of Technology to study advanced arboriculture.
After two years I left with a handsaw and a harness to start a grassroots business in Rotorua, starting with small backyard jobs I slowly moved up to full scale crane-assisted dismantle jobs, contract climbing and tree felling.
Wanting to branch out I decided to hire staff, with help I was able to up the volume of work I could deliver to my clients. I began taking on a further variety of jobs including retaining walls, garden construction, tree planting and fences.
